Second Graduation Event

It's now official!  Leyte Christian College now has 21 alumni!  On April 5, 2013, we were greatly blessed to have twelve (12) great young people walk the stage and receive their well-earned diplomas after four years of hard study.  This was our second of (hopefully) many, many more Commencement Exercises.  Congratulations to them all!  We are so proud of them.  These graduates are: Jerusalem Bacante, Remond Delos Santos, Rechelle Duazo, Cris Ann Duque, Francis Ann Geroy, Roy Gumamay, Mar-Mae Luang, Hannah Onez, Maricris Patindol, Jorgie Paunon, Aner Jun Villar, and Nova Zulita.  They join our nine graduates from last year, giving us a total of 21 alumni of LCC now.  We are so happy for them and their great accomplishment, and know that they will do well in their future endeavors.  One of the 12 will stay on at LCC as our newest instructor: Maricris Patindol, who will teach women's Bible studies, as well as English.  Thanks to all of our great supporters for helping to make this great event possible.  Thanks also to two dear friends from Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo, our sponsor congregation, for coming to be a part of this great event.  They are DeWayne Trimble of the Missions Committee, who presented our annual Excellence In Teaching award, and Dick Rice, one of the Southwest shepherds, who prayed the invocation at the Commencement Exercises.  What a great day!
