We have been back home here in Tacloban City for almost one week now. We arrived last Saturday night, Feb. 9, and had a great welcome the next morning at worship on the LCC campus. Our trip to the U.S. (for seven weeks) was both exciting, fun and tiring. It was so great to see our family again, especially our daughter Lauren & her husband Jordan, as well as many friends. Thanks to so many who were so hospitable to us and kind. It was great to be able to see you all, as well as be able to spend Christmas with family again after five years! Now, it's back to work. I'm happy to report that good things happened while we were gone. Two souls were added to the Lord and lots of good done here. Our student & friend, Carlito Alfante, who was so severely ill while we were away, is now well and doing fine. God is so good! Robin and I have now both resumed our classes which are part of the joy of living & working here, and our jet lag seems to be totally gone now. And the weather here is great, for the most part - not too hot & not too cold. Our second graduating class at LCC is now on track to finish their studies in just seven more weeks and walk the stage & receive diplomas on April 6. Exciting times! Largest-ever graduating class at LCC - a total of 23 students finished their four years with us and received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. We're proud of them all!
